Alastair Howard

Alastair earned his Bachelors in Architecture from Cardiff University in 2016. Interested in the poetics of place and the role of invention in architecture, his final year project experimented with artificial light on the distinct landscape of Dungeness, UK. In the summers, he has participated in an AA summer school in Madrid and has helped Harrison Marshall in a design-and-build project in Cambodia.

Outside of studies, he has followed interests in art and print-making, having co-curated an exhibition named Lost and Found at Cornerhouse Gallery, Manchester. Alastair joined CDR as an intern in September 2016, continuing a lasting relationship between Cardiff graduates and CDR.
